About Bai Sao Beach
Bai Sao (Star Beach) is Phu Quoc's crown jewel — one of the most beautiful beaches in Southeast Asia. Powdery white sand, crystal clear turquoise water and gentle entry make it perfect for swimming and Instagram photos. Located on the southeast coast, 35 minutes from the airport.
Few villas are directly near Bai Sao due to limited infrastructure. We recommend renting a villa on Long Beach or Ong Lang and visiting Bai Sao as a day trip by scooter (35 min, provided free with villa).
Nearby: An Thoi port with cable car to Hon Thom (10 min from Bai Sao) and snorkeling boat tours. Combine Bai Sao + An Thoi for a perfect day trip.
Day Trip Itinerary
9:00 — Leave villa by scooter (free). 35 min scenic ride through pepper plantations.
9:30 — Arrive at Bai Sao. Beach nearly empty early morning. Claim loungers ($3-5/day). Photos, swimming, kayaking.
12:00 — Lunch at beach restaurant. Grilled seafood, coconut cocktails. $5-15/person.
14:00 — Head to An Thoi (10 min). Cable car to Hon Thom — world's longest over-sea. Aquatopia water park.
17:30 — Sunset Town for dinner. Mediterranean-style complex with restaurants and evening fountain show.
19:30 — Return to villa. 30 min ride. Pool with LED lights waiting.
